Harold Pat McNeill, age 89, of Berryville, AR passed away August 3, 2012 at home with his family by his side. He was born March 13, 1923 at Shady Grove Community, out of Berryville. He attended school at Concord. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. Harold moved to Colorado for a number of years where he and his brother operated several rock quarries . He was self-employed in later years as a truck driver. Gardening, canning, cooking and hard work were his hobbies. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved his dog companions. He is survived by daughters, Dorothy Ann Belyea and husband Alan of Sherwood, Oregon; Gloria Carol Beyer and husband Joe of Berryville, Patti McNeill of Longmont, CO and Janet Martinez and husband Daniel of Surprise, AZ; step-son John Padgett and wife Penny of Rancho Murrieta, CA, ten grandchildren, three step-granddaughters and two great-great grandchildren; two sisters: Geneva Sellick of Berryville, Stella Hunt of Skiatook, OK; two brothers: Vernon McNeill and wife Betty of Lyons, CO and Harley McNeill and wife Lillian of Longmont, CO along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Harold is preceded in death by his parents and oldest brother, Andrew Lee McNeill of Eureka Springs and two previous wives, Audrey Wynn Iverson McNeill and Mary Jane (Houck) McNeill and nephew, Rodney McNeill.
