Harold Milton Fife 84, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013.
He was born December 31, 1928 in Wilson Lane, Utah, the son of Marvel Martin and William F. Fife. Marvel divorced William and married Ott Price, and together they raised Harold and seven brothers and sisters.
Harold graduated in 1948 from Weber County High School. He later served in the Korean War after which, he married Enid Sitterud on February 4, 1956 in Elko, Nevada. They were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple on April 28, 1964.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Roy 5th Ward, where he held many callings. Harold worked for W.R. White Pipe for many years where he retired. During those years he started H.M. Fife and Sons trucking company with his sons. Throughout his life he loved trucking. He was very proud of his sons helping with the business and working on the trucks. One of Harold’s proud moments was, when all three of his sons became Eagle Scouts together.
He couldn’t wait for the hunting season, where he was an avid hunter. Harold and his sons and friends would hunt for deer, elk, and loved to pheasant hunt. He raised and trained many hunting dogs.
He had three grandchildren who loved their Grandpa very much, Jamie Fife Barkdull, Zack Taylor, and Zane Taylor. He loved to go watch them play sports. Harold also loved horses. And when he visited his daughter and family, he would help his son-in-law with the horses and cows, and sometimes, when he could, he would cut and bale hay.
A very special moment for Dad, was when he was able to go and see his Grand-daughter get married and sealed in the temple.
