Harold “Lefty” Ragucci, 90, of Toms River, NJ died on Friday, January 4, 2019. Born in Newark, NJ he lived in Springfield, NJ before moving to Toms River. He was US Navy Veteran of World War II. Lefty worked in Maintenance at Ballantine Brewery in Newark, out of Teamsters Local 843. He then worked for Ford Fasteners and later became the Supervisor of Maintenance at Canoe Brook Country Club in Short Hills, NJ.
Harold was a Band Leader for 25 years, touring Essex and Union Counties with Lefty and the Dominoes. Predeceased by his loving wife Victoria (DiRico), he is survived by two sons; James of Union, NJ and Joseph of Oakhurst, NJ, a daughter Barbara Pugh of Harleysville, PA, a sister Florence Noce, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. There will be a Celebration of Lefty’s Life at a date to be determined.
