Harold “Junior” O. Fulp, Jr., 78, of Franklin, Indiana, passed away April 24, 2021 in Franklin, Indiana.
He was born on December 3, 1942 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Harold E. Fulp, Sr. and Ruth E. (Campbell) Fulp.
Junior is survived by his three daughters, Kelly L. Busch and Kristia D. Fulp, both of Gainesville, Florida, and Samantha (Mike) Perry of Trafalgar, Indiana; six grandchildren, Alesha M. Busch, Cassidy G. Chick (Robert) Hart, Thomas M. Priest, Gregory D. Priest, all of Gainesville, Florida, Olivia G. Perry and Alaina P. Perry, both of Trafalgar, Indiana; four great-grandchildren, Layla J. Hart, Lily C. Hart, Robert C. Hart, III, and Chick A. Hart, all of Gainesville, Florida; two siblings, Nancy Gilliland and Terry Fulp.
Junior grew up on the family farm and graduated from Nineveh High School in 1961 where he played basketball and baseball. He was a farmer all his life and raised pumpkins for over 25 years. In 1977, Junior held the Guinness Book of World Records for the world’s largest squash at 513lbs. He worked at Crossroad (Kroger) Farms Dairy for 37 years where he retired in 2009.
Junior enjoyed farming, his animals, and watching a good basketball game. A special thank you to those friends and neighbors who have helped Junior along the way as he truly enjoyed visiting with you.
