Harold Joseph Rehe, Sr. 82, of Masontown, WV passed away Wednesday May 5, 2010 at Monongalia General Hospital, surrounded by family. He was born October 19, 1927 in Bretz a son of the late Frank V. and Cossie (Bosley) Rehe. He graduated from Masontown High school and served in the U.S. Army. Harold has been the owner and operator of Sharon Coal Co. since 1957. He was well known for his work ethic and respected by his peers as the best master blender in the industry. Survivors include his loving wife of fifty nine years Donna (Spangler) Rehe; one son Harold Rehe, Jr.; five daughters and their spouses Pam and Jim Friend, Sharon and Oscar Lockerbie, Debbie and Jim Haney, Karen and Jack Brewer, and Diana Rehe; brother-in-law Ives Morony; sister-in-law Mary Rehe; thirteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers James Franklin Rehe and John V. Rehe and spouse Rilla; and four sisters Mary Lenora Rehe, Joanne Morony, Inez Holmes and spouse Robert, and Leona Cale and spouse Sherman; and grandson Jason Ed Born.
