Harold James (Jim) Hall, 77 of Idaho Falls died of a stroke on December 27, 2011 at Eastern Idaho Medical Center. Jim was born on July 26th, 1934 in Jamestown, New York, as the first of three sons of Harold Hall and Gertrude Hyde.
Jim graduated from Jamestown High School in 1952 and enlisted in the Army, where he served in Ordnance Specialist at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico, from 1953 to 1955. He received an Honorable Discharge in 1955. Jim married Nancy Jane Field Hall on July, 1956, in Jamestown, New York. Jim and Nancy moved to Idaho Falls in 1963, where he worked as a machinist for the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory. As an avid outdoorsman, Jim was an active hunter, fisherman, trapper, taxidermist and gunsmith. Jim was an active volunteer for the Idaho Hunter’s Safety Course sponsored by the Idaho Fish and Game Department.
