He was born on July 21, 1948 in Peoria the son of Harold and Mildred Chapman Hundt Sr. He married Brenda C. Maddan on July 26, 1969 in Peoria.
Surviving are his wife of Peoria, and their children Robert (Angela) Hundt of Bellevue, IL, Dawn (Rick) Crane of Washington and James Hundt of Peoria. Also surviving are five grandchildren and one great grandson.
He worked for Caterpillar Tractor Co. for 31 years last working as a tool investigator retiring in 1999.
