Harold F. Beck, 90, of Leisure Knoll, Manchester, NJ, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Arbors Care Center, Manchester, NJ. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Mineola, NY before moving to Manchester 12 years ago. Harold retired as a Sergeant from the New York Police Department after 20 years of service.
He served in the US Army WW II veteran. Harold served in the 86th Mountain Infantry, attaining the rank of Sergeant, and was the recipient of the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Rose (nee Musico) a son and daughter in law James & Lorraine Beck of Mineola, NY and 2 grandchildren Melissa & Danielle.
