Harold Eugene Duncan, age 82, of Northport, Ala., passed away May 1, 2022 at Aliceville Manor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Webster and Letha; wife, Vina Lou; brother, Jimmy; sons, James, Armond, and Cecil; and daughters, Rosa Lee and Anne.
Survivors include his daughters, Hilda Oswalt, Georgiana Winters (Gerald), Sonya Swindle, Jackie Spence (Toby), and Karen Swindle, all of Northport; sister, Linda. He loved all of his grandchildren, but his littlest stole his heart… the twins, Poppy Drew and Sunny James, Ava Grace and Jaxson and Ally.
It takes a big person to step up and embrace the role of stepdad – and our Duncan did it with open arms, a ready fishing pole, a deck of cards, and seeds to plant a garden. He needed all of us as much as we needed him. We will miss his stories, his dry sense of humor, we will miss him! He will always be in our hearts.
