Harold E. Thorsen, 65, of rural Ottawa, died July 30, at his home.
Mr. Thorsen was born February 19, 1943 in Ottawa to Maynard and Esther (Ostrem)Thorsen. He was a life-long farmer. He married Sally L. Gustavison on August 31, 1968 at Freedom Lutheran Church in Ottawa. He was a member of Freedom Lutheran Church and Cup of Cold Water Ministry.
He is survived by his wife, Sally L. Thorsen; two daughters, Jodine (William) Bandlow of Battle Creek, Michigan and Christine Thorsen of Ottawa; a son, Scott(Tracy)Thorsen of Ottawa; three grandchildren, Marissa and Mallory Bandlow, Kendall Thorsen; a sister, Myrla(Richard)Randall of Yorkville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother in infancy, Alan Thorsen.
