Harold “Doug” Riggert, 72, of Metamora, IL passed away at 10:40 am on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at his residence. He was born on March 14, 1943 in Peoria, IL to Hans W. and Mae (Aders) Riggert. He married Judith K. Komnick on April 28, 1968 in Peoria, IL. She survives.
Also surviving are his two daughters Jill (Brian) Koch of Springfield, IL and Donya Riggert of Metamora; seven grandchildren Chas (Sami) Bruess, Jalynn Bruess, Colin Koch, Ben Koch, Katie Koch, Justin Koch, and H. Gabriel Riggert; and brother Richard “Dick” (Laura) Riggert of Metamora. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Doug was a retired self-employed trucker.
