Harold “Dean” Portwood, 45, Farmland, died January 5, 2008 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born July 1, 1962 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Farmland.
Dean lived in Anderson most of his life. He was employed at Art’s Pizza, was a chef at On Broadway and most recently, at Holiday Inn. He won top chef in Madison County while at On Broadway.
Dean attended Highland High School. He loved spending time with his friends and family.
He is survived by his sisters, Nayleen Scott Poole of Anderson and Atoel Dale Profitt of Farmland; nieces & nephews, Ryan Miranda Poole, Cristian Nick Jones, Ariona Poole, Aaron Profitt, Austin Profitt, Adam Profitt and Andrew Profitt. Also surviving is his special friend, Carey Corzine & wife Sharon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Linnea Alice Watson Portwood.
