Harold “Daddy Frank” Lloyd Henry, 91, of Okeechobee died June 21, 2021. He was born May 29, 1930, to Amos Henry and Elda Baxabee, in Oak Harbor Ohio where he grew up.
Mr. Henry proudly served our country in the United States Marines. He married Margaret “Maggie” Henry in 1952. They lived in Michigan for many years where he was a crane operator for Operating Engineers #324. They also lived briefly in Texas and moved to Okeechobee, Florida in 1983.
Daddy Frank was born in a boat “so he says”, so he had a natural love for fishing which he did for many years on Lake Erie and Lake Okeechobee. If he wasn’t fishing, he was riding his many Harley Davidson motorcycles. He loved his family, his many riding buddies, and buddies that he met along his journey of 91 years.
Daddy Frank bought the Iron Eagle Bar on one of his “rides” and he loved his “cold beer”.
Ride High Daddy Frank.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret “Maggie” Huddleston Henry, and son, Franklin Theodore Henry.
He is survived by his daughters, Betty Harris (J.R. Reno Tucker) and Patricia Grygo (Dennis Reynolds); son, Fredrick Ray; three grandchildren, Aline Henry, J.P. Grygo, and Jen Rippey; and four great-grandchildren.
