Harold W. Burge Sr., 76, of Anderson, passed away after a sudden illness on October 21, 2014 at his residence. He was born on October 10, 1938 in Franklin, Indiana and resided most of his life in Anderson.
He retired from Sink & Edwards Sheet Metal Shop after 15 years of service.
He was a member of FOE #174, avid bowler, loved old cars, and a collector of Coke-A-Cola memorabilia.
Harold is survived by his loving spouse, Linda (Metcalf) Burge; children, Harold W. Burge, Jr., Vickie Burge-Huston, Michael Burge, April Sloan, Aaron Young; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and two best buds, Rocky and Mimi. Also surviving are his special friends, Jeff, Johnny, and Frank whom the family would like to thank for all their help.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John H. and Virginia Burge; two daughters, Cindy Burge Clevenger and Tammy Burge; and siblings, Evelyn Durant, and Larry Burge.
