Harold graduated from Newton High School in 1945. He was a planner for the Maytag Company for 30 years, retiring in 1985. Harold was a lifelong resident of Newton.
Harold enjoyed fishing, traveling, Bluegrass music, Polka music, and exploring the internet. He loved reading and was an avid Democrat.
