Mr. Harold A. Hansen, age 96, of Orange, beloved husband of 55 years of marriage to the late Muriel Marshall Hansen, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2010, at Shelton Lakes Healthcare Center, Shelton.
He was born on July 15, 1913 in North Haven, the son of the late Julius and Elsa Jelm Hansen. Harold and his late brother Woodrow were the owners of Seal Roofing Company. He was also known for being an antique car enthusiast.
Survivors include his two sons Richard Hansen and his wife Florine and Bruce Hansen and his wife Nancy-Jo all of Orange, three grandchildren Lisa Hansen Bulgini and her husband Matthew and Caroline-Jo Wilson and her husband Jeffrey all of Orange and Christopher Marshall Hansen and his wife Dorota of Port Jefferson, NY, three great-grandchildren Benjamin Treat Wilson, Morgan Alexander Wilson and Tristan Marshall Hansen. He is also survived by a sister-in-law Betty-Jo Hansen, five nephews Gary, Glenn, Brian, Craig and Mark Hansen. He was predeceased by his brother Woodrow Hansen.
