Harlan B. Pope, 79, of Ringgold, formerly of Sand Mountain, Alabama, died Thursday, November 30, 2017 at his home. He was a longtime resident of the North Georgia Area and was a US Air Force Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Peggy Jean Pope, and is survived by his special friend and close companion: Charlotte Lowery; a son: Richard (Joyce) Pope, Rainsville, AL, and a stepson: Rob (Deana)Jones, Rome, GA; two daughters: Donna Rains, Henagar, AL, and Deedra (John) Phares , Rainsville ; and a sister: Charlotte Green, Huntsville, AL; 5 grandchildren: Mandy Santiago, Tiffany Chadwick, Lauren Powell, Taylor Rogers, and Makenzie Jones, and 10 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild..
