Hari Chand, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away at the age of 74 on Sunday Feb. 3rd, 2019 at St. Lukes Hospital in Boise, Idaho. He leaves behind his wife, Parbha Wati Chand of 54 years, son, Mukesh Chand, daughter in law, Ana Chand, and daughter, Jotika Singh. Grandchildren: Melanie and Joel Foust, Stacey Chand, Nathaniel Chand, Sandeep Singh, Tom Costanza, and great granddaughter Esther (his angel baby), brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews both here in the US and Fiji Islands.

He was born and raised in Nausori, Fiji Islands, the son of Tiger Shankar and Sirtaji and grandson of Assemblies of God missionaries in Fiji. He started working at the young age of 12, and got married at the age of 19 to his lovely wife. He loved working in retail, as he got to travel to the many islands of Fiji.

In 2002 he migrated to the US and started his road to retirement. He always longed to be close to his children, and got to watch his grand kids grow up.

On January 27th, 2019 he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and on February 3rd he graduated to Heaven, where he now walks the streets of gold with Him.
