Hans G. Mollenkott, 77, of Windsor, beloved husband of the late Marilyn (Inzeo) Mollenkott passed away peacefully Friday April 22, 2005. Born in Cherokee, Iowa, Hans grew up in Michigan attending local schools there, and was a graduate of Galien High School Class of 1945.

He then went on to attend and graduate from Wheaton College of Illinois. He eventually made his home in Carmel NY for most of his life, just recently residing in Windsor with his family for a short time. He was the son of the late Fritz and Anna (Mennenoh) Mollenkott. Hans was a retired Teacher at Old Tappen, N.J. in the Northern Valley High School for many years in which he taught the languages of English and German. He was a member of the Calvary Church of West Hartford, and an active member of the Thursday morning Bible study group. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, and also enjoyed bowling and golfing.

He is survived by a brother, Siegfried Mollenkott, and his wife Frances, of Ft. Worth TX; a nephew, Paul Mollenkott and his wife Barbara of Ringwood N.J., three nieces, Sharon Mollenkott of Waco TX, Ann Pyle and her husband Victor of Ft. Worth TX, and Elizabeth Ford Abbot and her husband Brian of Windsor; three great-nieces, Miranda, Corrine, and Sarina Mollenkott all of Ringwood N.J.; two great-nephews, Cameron and Addison Abbot both of Windsor; a brother-in-law, Seward E. Ford and his wife Margaret of Windsor. He was predeceased by a brother, Fritz Mollenkott and a sister, Gerda “Liz” Ford.
