Mrs. Hannah Lee Daniels was born December 30, 1929, in Portsmouth, Virginia.  She was the daughter of Leroy Randolph Bell and Alice Harris Bell.

After completing high school, Hannah Daniels enlisted in the  U. S. Army.

 

She soon found her way to Indianapolis, Indiana, where she married Alonzo Lee Daniels.

 

Hannah Daniels was loved and respected by all.  As a self-proclaimed Domestic Engineer, her primary focus was taking care of her home and family. Her work outside of home consisted of the U. S. Army Finance and Accounting Center at Fort Benjamin Harrison, William T.

 

Her hobbies included modeling, where she was among the first   African American models for L. S. Ayres & Company in their Tea Room.  She also modeled for Elan Furs, the U. S. Army uniform catalog and was an accomplished pianist.

 

Mrs. Hannah Lee Daniels departed her earthly life at home and surrounded by loved ones, on Saturday, September 7th, 2019, at the age of 89. 

 

She leaves to cherish in her memory her children, Kelly M. (James)Cissel and Kim L. Johnson; grandchildren, Danielle Walker, Kiona L.    Williams, Deanna Walker, Mark A.
