Hanna Anna Lena Sozanski, 79, wife of Mirolew Sozanski of Forestville, passed away at her home on Saturday, December 15, 2007.
Hanna was born on April 22, 1928, in Hamburg, Germany, a daughter of the late Heinrich and Ericka (Neubeiser) Peitsmeyer.
Mrs. Sozanski was totally devoted to her family. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, and she enjoyed baking, camping and crafting.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three sons and two daughters-in-law, Michael and Bonnie Sozanski of Terryville, Richard and Deborah Sozanski of Wethersfield and Marcus Sozanski of New York City; her daughter and son-in-law Adriana and Thomas Canavan of Grafton, MA; her sister, Ursula Tecklenburg; her grandchildren, Colleen Canavan, Caitlyn Canavan, Nicole Sozanski, Evan Sozanski and Brad Sozanski, her special nieces and nephew, Ilona and her husband Paul LaPorte, and Sabine and Roy Bredefeld, along with various other family members in Germany. She was predeceased by her two brothers and two sisters.
