Loving husband of Olga Kowalchuk for 65 beautiful years. Beloved dad of Kenneth (Kristine) Petterle, Dave (Gwen) Petterle, and Larry (Jan) Petterle. Cherished grandpa of Keith, Kory, Jonathan, Anthony, Amanda and Jennifer. Proud great grandpa of Autumn, Archer, Liam, Riley, Anthony Jr., Colin, Mike, Katie, Matt and Stella. He is preceded in death by his parents, Katherine and John Petterle, and his great grandson, Reed. Hal started barbering with his father at Hal’s Barbershop, he continued cutting hair after the loss of his father. Hal was also a realtor in the Downriver area for over 40 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army in Korea.
