H. Pauline Hyle, 83 formerly of Dakota, died Saturday November 26, 2011 at Provena St. Joseph Home in Freeport. Born March 3, 1928 in Rock Run Township she was the daughter of Robert and Hazel (Neuschwander) Niblo.

She graduated from Berlin Grade School and was a 1946 graduate of Dakota High School. On July 14, 1949 she and Vernon E. Hyle were united in marriage at Dakota United Methodist Church.

She was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Rock Grove and currently a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Freeport.

Surviving are her husband Vernon of Freeport, two daughters Karen (David) Ewing of Freeport, Connie (Gregory) Gill of Machesney Park; four sons Gary Hyle of German Valley, Greg Hyle of Rockford, Roger (Kelly) Hyle of Roscoe, Randy Hyle of Roscoe; nine grandchildren Penny (Nate) Peterson, Ted Ewing, Nicholas (Kristy) Gill, Christopher (Amanda), Amanda, Garrett, Adam, Andrew and Emilie Hyle, 5 Great grandchildren Alex, Evan and Tristan Peterson, Brady and Brynn Gill; brother Robert (Janice) Niblo of Freeport; sister-in-law LaDonna Koppein of Freeport. Preceding her in death were her parents, infant daughter, son Paul, grandson Nathan Hyle and three sisters Marjorie Niblo, Joyce Virtue, Lorraine TerHark.
