H. E. Richarz, Jr. 82, of Temple, formerly of Garland. Mr. Richarz died Thursday, January 10, 2013 at a Temple nursing home. Mr. Richarz was born in Houston, June 18, 1930, the son of H. E. Richarz and Stella (Bard) Richarz. He married Patricia Edwards, December 24, 1950 in Houston. Mr. Richarz was a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin.
He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Air Force from 1950-1954. The couple lived in Garland for 50 years, and Temple for the last 10 years. He was retired from Schering Plough Pharmaceutical Sales. He was a member of the NRA and St. Francis Episcopal Church in Temple.
Survivors include his wife Patricia Ruth (Edwards) Richarz of Temple, daughter Cindy Allen of Belton, sons Richard Richarz of Grand Canyon, Arizona and Kurt Richarz of Boulder, Colorado, a sister Pauline Mohnke of Boerne; 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
