H.E. Graham passed away January 20, 2016, he was born August 18, 1931 in Mineral Wells, Texas. He was proceeded in death by his wife Vivian. They met at a square dance in Sanders AZ. They married in a Methodist church in Las Vegas in 1956.
They were married for 33 years 4 days, until she passed. They moved to Flagstaff that same year. He lived in their house tell the day he passed, just the way he wanted. His mother Rubena, married Ira a cow puncher and raised H.E. on several New Mexico ranches.
As a child he rode the chuck wagon with his mother, and later given the job of keeping the branding irons hot. H.E. worked at the state border check during his time in Holbrook later upon moving to Flagstaff he worked as a repairman of small mechanical equipment. He ended his career at Northern Arizona University in the biology department.
During the passing of his wife they, his coworkers became his family. He stayed in contact with many of them through the years. H.E. was an accomplished leather artist, a skill he developed while making saddle bags at the Sanders trading post. H.E had a love of bolo ties and all things southwest, it was truly his home. He will be missed by all who were fortunate to make his acquaintance.
H.E. loved flowers and if desired he would be pleased to have them for his service.
