Helen “Claudine” Emery, age 99, of Centralia, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Odin Healthcare Center. Helen was born August 11, 1918 in Virginia, the daughter of Fletcher Lee Harrison Webb and Enah Roode(Smith) Webb.
She married Edward Emery on November 22, 1939 in Centralia and he preceded her in death on September 27, 1995. Helen is survived by three grandchildren: Brenda Clark and husband Travis of Dahlgren, Joyce McCready of Colorado, and Brian Dill of Centralia; five great grandchildren: Christopher Little, Kirstie Suddeth, Kyler Dill, Jasmine Clark and Jerry Clark; one brother: Eldon Webb of Texas.
Helen is preceded in death by her parents: Fletcher and Enah Webb; two daughters: Janet Walley and Linda Dill; one brother: Dwight Webb; one grandchild: James Little. Helen was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Centralia. In her younger years, she was a Girl Scout Leader, where she enjoyed spending time with children. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
