Our beautiful, loving mother and grandmother, Gwenn Marie Kibler, 81, of Boise, Idaho went to be with the Lord, January 25, 2019, after a long, courageous battle with Alzheimer’s.
Gwenn was born February 24, 1937, in Challis, Idaho to Amos M. Cummings and C. Virginia Cummings (Page). At a young age, her family moved from Challis, Idaho to Anderson Ranch Dam in Idaho, where her father worked on the construction of the dam until the war. Her family then moved to Middleton, Idaho, then to Notus, Idaho, Portland Oregon, for about a year, then back to Caldwell, Idaho.
Her family moved to Boise, Idaho in her freshman year of high school, where she attended Boise High School. Gifted with a beautiful alto voice, she was very involved in choir.  She was selected and honored to sing in the All City Choir.  Later she would sing and perform with the Madrigal Choir of Boise for many years.
Her first job was at Walgreens soda fountain counter in downtown Boise alongside her dear, lifelong friend Sally Turk, also her roommate at the time.  She graduated from Boise High School in 1955.
Gwenn met David G. Kibler at a drive-in.
Gwenn worked at the Idaho First National Bank, Idaho Livestock PCA, and Hewlett Packard, where she retired from in 2005.  She also was adventurous and worked on Cascade Lake, Cascade Idaho as a Boating officer!
Our mother worked tirelessly, while raising and caring for six children, along with running a household. She kept a tidy, clean home, and cooked a lot of tasty meals for her family.
Her family would like to extend their profound appreciation for all those who have helped care for our dear mother during the last few years of her battle with Alzheimer’s.  A special appreciation to her dear son Randy, whose loving devotion and care for her was beyond measure.
She is survived by her six children and their spouses; David Kibler  (Cheryl), Kammy Romer (Richard), Leslie Alder (Mike), Jeff Kibler, Lisa Geertson (Steve), Randy Kibler. Her dear sister, Melinda Burt (Jerry), former husband Dave Kibler and  dear aunt and sister-in-law Donna Winschell.  Her grandchildren; Gabriel, Meaghan, Sean, Rachel, Ryan, Charles, Casey, Cara, Kayla, Kelsey, Caden, Dominique, Brianna, Gavin.  Seventeen great-grandchildren.  Along with several nieces and nephews, and cousins.
She was proceeded in death by; her father (Amos) and her mother (Virginia), her sister (Joanne), her brother (Ed).
