Gwenivere McCombs, 94, of Rupert Idaho, passed away on March 25, 2017 at her home south of Rupert, Idaho.
Gwen was born to Joseph Alfred Jenks and Meda Smith on February 3, 1923 in College Ward, Cache, Utah. She moved with her family to Rupert, Minidoka, Idaho in 1932, where she attended school from grades 3 through 12, graduating from Heyburn High School in 1941. She married Don J. McCombs December 18, 1941 in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple.
She and Don lived and farmed various areas. They lived in Burley, Paul, Declo, and Rupert. They owned and ran Dondee’s drive-in in Burley. They had six children.
