Mrs. Gwendolyn Rochester Lyons, 83 of Wedowee, AL, formerly of Sharpsburg, GA passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2020. Gwen was born June 26, 1936 in Atlanta to the late Howard Rochester & Hazel Fincher Rochester. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis William Lyons, Sr. Gwen worked as a payroll coordinator for the Atlanta Athletic Club where she retired after 42 years. She was a longtime member of Turin Baptist Church where she played the piano and organ for the congregation. Gwen had a love for reading and especially enjoyed the friendships and conversations when she got her hair done several times a week.
