Gwendolyn Judy Cachora, 69, passed away Friday, September 7, 2012. She was born on May 2, 1943, in Fort Yuma, CA. Judy was a well respected member of the community. She spent a majority of her life helping others. From being a CPS worker to retiring as Quechan Tribal Advocate she touched many lives.
Judy is survived by her daughters, Jacqueline (Phil) Emerson, Paula Hill, Marsha Hill, and Alexis Cachora; sons, Edward (Sarah) Hill Sr., Samuel Hill Sr., John Cachora Sr., and Donald Cachora Sr.; brother, Eldridge Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ada Lucille Smith and Sylvester Smith Sr.; sisters, Ada Lucille Aguerro, Rozmend Gail Evanston, and Patronella Smith; brother, Sylvester Smith Sr.; children, Elliott Leon Hill Jr., Alex M. Cachora, and Marty Cachora.
