Guycell Nelson, age 87, Oak Hill, died Friday, December 21st at Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, Port Orange.
Born in White Cliff, Arkansas, Mr. Nelson, a ship fitter in the Navy, moved to this area in 1964 from Cocoa. He enjoyed watching football and baseball on t.v. and loved his dogs and animals. He was a big fan of murder mystery novels. Mr. Nelson is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Celete, 1 son, Mark Nelson, 1 daughter, Denise and her husband Barry Benson, 2 grandsons, BJ Benson and his fiancAC. Nicole Haskins, Brian and his wife Ashley Benson, 4 sister-in-laws, Myrtle Marie Tucker, Frances Pless, Georgina Bennett, and Glenda Gail Lay, and 1 brother-in-law, Cecil Clark.
