Guy Vaccaro, of Burlington City, died Tuesday June 26, 2007 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly at the age of 100. Mr. Vaccaro was born in Altoona, PA and had lived in Princeton, NJ before moving to Burlington City after his marriage in 1933. He had worked as a painter, retiring in 1972. He was a charter member of the Local 694, Council 711, Painters and Paper Hangers Union.

He was also a former member of the Moose and Elks Lodges in Burlington. He is survived by his wife of 74 years Josephine (nee Cannuli), his daughter and son in law: Gerri and Peter McCaughley, of Burlington City, his son and daughter in law Samuel and Lucretia Vaccaro of New Berlin, NY, his grandchildren: Beth Pease, Jerome Vaccaro, Keith Vaccaro, Colleen Solomon and Peter McCaughley, Jr., his great grandchildren: Jessica Pease, Ashton Pease, Angelia Vaccaro, Hillary Vaccaro, Elizabeth Solomon, Christine Solomon, Eric Solomon and Bryan Solomon, Peter McCaughley, III, Miranda McCaughley and Kelly Ann McCaughley.

He is also survived by his brothers and sister: Anthony, Joseph and John Vaccaro and Frances Grochala as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters Carmella, Tillie and Ann Vaccaro, Mary Swinnerton and his brother James Vaccaro.
