Gustave A. “Gus” Senkbeil Jr., 89 of Manchester, loving husband for 53 years of Joyce E. (Ramey) Senkbeil, died Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at a local convalescent home.
Gus was born in Hartford on June 7, 1927, son of Gustave and Ida (Hills) Senkbeil. He was raised in the Hartford area and came to Manchester in 1964. Prior to retiring in the early 1990’s he had been employed by the Hartford Courant newspaper for over fifty years.
