Gustave A. Seaman, age 88, dear husband of Julie Spano Kwasnik (predeceased) of Fairfield, CT, passed away peacefully at his home on January 21, 2019. Gus was a graduate of Bassick High School where he was a multi-sport star athlete, on the gridiron, the diamond and the hardwood. He remained local for college earning both a bachelor of science and a Masters degree from the University of Bridgeport (UB). While at UB, he continued his sports successes on the basketball court where he set and held numerous records, including the all-time career rebounder and as a member of the 1000-point club. Gus also served in the Chemical Corp of the U.S. Army; stationed in Sampigny, France.
