Gurney Jackson Maness, 87, of Liberty, died Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.
Gurney was born June 17, 1931 in Chatham County and was a longtime resident of Liberty.
Survivors: wife of almost 65 years, Ernestine Martin Maness, of the home, daughter, Pamela Maness Kemp, of High Point, brothers, Tom Maness, of Snow Camp, Junior Maness, of Siler City, Charlie Maness, of Snow Camp, his beloved cat “Sam,” and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express immense gratitude to the Randolph Hospice House, with special thanks to Sherri, Tiffany, and Jennifer.
