Gunnar Andrew Wells passed away on February 5th due to an opioid overdose. The light of a funny, intelligent, loving, and giving hearted spirit was taken from us way too soon by a senseless and relentless drug. Gunnar fought as hard as he knew how for a large part of his life. He had been in countless recovery programs in efforts to beat this tragic disease. Unfortunately, he lost his battle. These drugs defile the brain’s ability to make sound decisions and rational thinking in order to save one’s self, which Gunnar had fallen victim too. May this amazing son, father, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend rest in peace.
