Guinevere Irlene (Gwen) Halle (91) of Finksburg, died Monday, January 25, 2016 at Carroll Lutheran Village. Born Feb. 4, 1925 in Anacostia, Md. daughter of the late Herbert & Nola B. Webster (Petingel).
She was the loving wife of Dieter K.K. Halle for 45 years.
Gwen was a secretary at numerous Westinghouse facilities for over 25 years. She enjoyed gardening, growing her Hosta & Ginseng plants, swimming, sewing, working on their country cabin, writing poems & short stories and traveling. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church. After retirement, she worked several years as a bus aide at the Arc.
She is survived by her 3 children: Gwenn & son-in-law, J. Gary Bockelmann, Richard A. Evashko & Robert F. Evashko. 3 grandchildren: J. Gregory & wife, Lin Bockelmann, Bradley C. & wife, Chrissy Bockelmann, and Crystal Evashko.
5 great grandchildren: Taylor Ann, Kirstyn, Logan & Jackson Bockelmann and Gabby Morris. Gwen was predeceased by 6 of her 7 brothers and sisters.
