Guillermo Mendigorin Afable, age 68, of Norwalk, died peacefully at the Norwalk Hospital on Thursday, August 12, with his family at his side. He was the husband of Caridad Mendoza Afable. Born on November 20, 1941 in Subic Zambales, Philippines, Guillermo was the son of the late Luis S. Afable, Sr. and the late Flocerfina Mendigorin Afable.
In addition to his wife, Guillermo is survived by his three sons and their wives; Gary Louis and Evelyn Sanchez Afable of Norwalk, Gene Louis and Rosemarie Hernandez Afable of The Philippines and George Louis and Imelda Serrano Afable of Nevada, 5 grandchildren, Gino, Gian, Gabrielle, Gillian and Ryan, a brother, 3 sisters and several nieces and nephews.
