Guadalupe “Lupe” Aguilar entered eternal rest on March 3, 2022.
Guadalupe was born in Santa Maria, Texas on September 21, 1931 and was the second of 8 children. She attended Santa Maria Elementary before she was pulled from school to help support the family.Lupe was the backbone of the Aguilar family. Her work and dedication made it possible for her five brothers, sister, and nephew to complete high school. She also took care of her father and mother. Lupe was especially proud of her nephew, David, whom she raised as her own son. Although she did not have much spare time, she enjoyed going out to eat with her family and friends, listening to Tejano music, taking care of her home, shopping, and spending time with her nieces & nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose & Maria; brothers, Alberto, Abel, & Arnoldo; sister, Elodia; brother-in-law, Eloy, and sister-in-law, Ninfa.
Lupe is survived by her family members, brothers, Armando and Alonzo, and sister, Anna.
