Grover E. “Sawhorse” Clark, 91, of Shalimar, FL, formerly of Quincy, MA, died on Sunday, June 28, 2009, after a brief illness and a long struggle with Alzheimers.
Mr. Clark played tackle for the North Quincy High School Varsity Team.
Mr. Clark resided in Pembroke, MA for several years, moved to Clearwater, FL in the 1980’s, had lived in Colorado Springs, CO, from 1996 – 2005, and had been a resident of Shalimar, FL since 2005. Grover enjoyed Baseball and was a lifelong Red Sox fan and was also known to support the Braves, Rays and the Yankees.
He is survived by his wife; Ruth M. Clark of Shalimar, son; Ralph L. Clark, II of Shalimar, FL, sister; Joanne Borden of Maine, and niece; Diane Baker of Clearwater, FL.
