Gretchen Marie Unger passed away peacefully October 28, 2022 at Yale’s Bridgeport Hospital with her family by her side. She was born in Milford Connecticut on March 11, 1966 to Carl (Dick) Unger and Donna (Sundik) Unger.
Besides her parents, Gretchen is survived by her brothers, Christopher Unger and Kurt (Heather) Unger, both of West Haven; nephew, Michael; nieces, Emily and Ava; and many lifelong friends she considered family.
Gretchen graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. She worked at Rite Aid in Milford, Connecticut as a pharmacist for many years. She loved her cottage at Spafford Lake in New Hampshire, and her Spafford family.
She was a loving daughter, sister, and auntie and friend to many. She was always willing to listen and give advice and help anyone who asked. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
