GROVELAND – Greta (Hood) Davis, 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 21, 2014, at Holy Family Hospital at Merrimack Valley in Haverhill, surrounded by family and friends. She was a resident of Groveland since 1951, and was married for 58 years to Walter Davis Jr., who died in 2010.
She was born February 16, 1929, in Spencer, daughter of the late William T. and Mary (Spooner) Hood. Greta’s family moved to Groveland Street in Haverhill when she was two years old.
