Gregory W. Buffington, 49, of Poway, California died on Wednesday, March 7 at Palomar Medical Center in Escondido, CA as a result of complications from lymphoma. Greg was born on May 16, 1968 in Harrisburg, PA to Jere L. Buffington and Constance A. (Davis) Buffington. He is survived by his daughter, Jenna Ross of Vista, CA, his parents, Jere and Connie Buffington of Poway, CA, his sister, Angela Buffington of Poway, nephew, Alex Wasserman and nieces, Amanda and Samantha Wasserman, and paternal Grandmother, Jean Buffington, of Mechanicsburg, PA.
Greg is a 1986 graduate of Poway High School where he was a member of the CIF Championship basketball team. He attended Palomar College. He was employed by Rapid Transmissions in Escondido, CA.
