Gregory Jackson, 53 of Hanover, Kansas formerly of Pawnee City, Nebraska passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2014 in Hanover, Kansas.  Greg was born August 29, 1960 in Lincoln, NE to Nella Churchill. The family later moved to to Pawnee City, NE where Greg was raised. Greg spent his youth with his Uncle Melvin and Aunt Wanda Hinrichsen at their farm and attended school at Pawnee City. It was his time with Melvin at a young age that attracted him to tractors, especially Allis-Chalmers.

Everyone who knew Greg knew that he had a deep love for Allis-Chalmers Tractors. He used to say that his blood was orange. Greg was an avid Allis-Chambers collector and has had many rare and unusual tractors through the years.

Greg married Sandra Wenzbauer in April of 1983 in Seneca, KS. To this union, two children were born, Gregory Dean and Jeffery Alan.  Greg and Sandra later separated.

A few years later while living in Beatrice, NE, Greg met Marilyn Camden whom became the love of his life. They enjoyed close to 15 years together. Greg was hardly spotted anywhere without Marilyn. They were always on the road and he enjoyed taking Marilyn shopping, searching for antiques, a new restaurant, or of course another tractor! Greg loved going to the casinos and collecting toy tractors.

Greg loved his rescue dogs Scruffy, Patches, and Freckles. His latest love was his cat Sparky which he referred to as “psycho cat”.

Greg worked many years as a mechanic for Field Ford in Tecumseh, NE. He later began selling, repairing, and restoring tractors. In 1999, he moved to Hanover, KS and opened his dream business of Hilltop Tractors. More recently, Greg enjoyed working on the pipeline and was proud to be a pipeliner.

Greg was very loving, hard working, soft hearted, generous and always would help anybody in need.

Greg is survived by his sweetheart Marilyn Camden, Hanover, KS. Mother Nella Kolbo, Hanover KS. His two sons Gregory(Jaci) of Cortland, NE and Jeffery(Amber) of Beatrice, NE. His stepdaughter Tammy(Bill) of Lincoln, NE and stepson Tim(Monica) of Wymore, NE. His grandchildren Janna, Jay, Erin, Keegan, Katie, Alexis, and Mason. His great grandchildren Nicholas and Frankie.

Greg is preceded in death by his Uncle (Dad) Melvin and Aunt (Mom) Wanda Hinrichsen.
