He has 3 grandchildren Lyndsey Lee Buxton, Tyson Kirk Buxton, Challey Ann Buxton , and 3 great grandchildren Blake Douglas Buxton (deceased), Corey Kirk Buxton, Traylynn Alexis Buxton-Martinez.
Gregory served in the United States Army for 8 years, and obtained the rank of Sergeant.
He also was a well known local race car driver in the 1960s-1970s winning many awards and trophies, and breaking records.
He worked in construction for over 25 years and was at the end of his career a Superintendent.
He will be buried with Military Honors.
