Gregory L. Cross, 82, of San Diego, CA died February 11, 2021 at Palomar Medical Center in Escondido.
Greg instantly drew people in with his charismatic personality and his sense of humor. He will always be remembered for these qualities as well as his creativity and love of life. He loved traveling the world with his family and collecting art from foreign cultures. Greg was an avid theater goer – from Broadway to local community theater to movie nights with the guys. Additionally, he was an enthusiastic sports fan especially loving all things football, basketball, and a Yankees fan for life. Greg was an accomplished magician who enjoyed treating the children in his life to a magic trick or two and a tune on his harmonica.
Greg is survived by his wife, Carol of Marshallville, OH, his beloved daughter, Abby of Boston, MA, his three sisters – Mary (Matt) Villarose of Crystal River, FL, Michaela Burke of Citrus Hills, FL, Dr. Gerilyn Cross (James Simpson) of Pine Ridge, FL, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews that he loved so much.
