Gregory Cleo Scott a native and resident of the Walker Springs community was better known to family and friends as” Alpo and Sarge.” He traded time for eternity on Saturday, July 18, at Mobile Infirmary. He was born May 21, 1962 to Granville Jr. and Nettie Grey Pritchett Scott.
He was a member of Greater Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, Walker Spring and a graduate of Jackson High School Class of 1980. After graduating he enlisted in the Army and joined the Alabama National Guard. He was employed with Mobile Asphalt for number of year where enjoyed working and being around his co-worker. Greg was a caring person who loved his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ollie Lee Scott; grandparents, Tommie and Adella Pritchett and Creola Scott.
Left to cherish his memories his children; daughter, Miracle (Jarol) Rodgers; son,Cedric Hudson; two grandchildren, Jarol Rodgers Jr. and Ka’miah Hudson; brothers, Henry (Mary) Scott, Inglewood, Calif., Joe (GeorgeAnn) Scott, Tommie Lee (Billie) Scott and Dan Scott, all of Los Angeles, Calif. Edward (Percilla) Scott and Benny Scott both of Walker Springs; Two sisters; Vada(Roy) Johnson of Eight Mile, Al and Vera (Allen, Jr. ) Williams, of Jackson; two uncles Theodore (Mary Ann) Pritchett of Walker Springs and Cleon (Monika) Pritchett of Woodbridge, Va.; aunt, Rosie Pritchett of Gainestown; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, one great nephew, cousins and his Mobile Asphalt family who he loved and many friends.
