Heaven welcomed a new angel on Monday, January 3, 2022. Gregoria Ochoa Cadenas 94, affectionally known to her family as Momo and to friends and church family as Gollita was born in Celaya GTO, Mexico on May 9, 1927 to Epifanio Ochoa and Rafaela Acosta Ochoa. She is preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Cadenas, her first born son Carmen, 2 brothers, Agustin and Jose Ochoa, 1 sister Eufrocena Ochoa, and 1 grandson Michael Allen Cadenas.
Mrs. Cadenas was an active member of the Primera Iglesia Bautista in Combes, TX. She loved serving the Lord and would be one of the first persons to welcome anyone to her church and home. She had the ability to make a stranger feel welcomed and accepted. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of having met her. Mrs. Cadenas was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother, and friend. She will be fondly remembered for her sense of style, beautiful smile, strength of character and her love for gardening and taking care for her doves and parakeets.
Surviving Mrs. Cadenas are her seven children, Conce (Elida), Lupe Weaver (+John), Joe (Ruby) from Los Angeles, CA, Juan (Lucy), David (Linda) from Copperas Cove, TX, Eli (Janie), Ruben, ex daughter-in-law Hope, 14 Grandchildren, 18 Great-Grandchildren, and 8 Great-Great Grandchildren. 2 brothers, Federico Ochoa, Sotero Ochoa and 4 sisters, Francisca, Jovita, Ofelia, and Maria.
