Gregg Umland, 58, passed away on Friday, November 25 at William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, Florida. He was born November 14, 1958 in Englewood, New Jersey to Charles and June Umland of Hillsdale, New Jersey. Prior to moving to Florida, Gregg lived in Hatfield, Pennsylvania.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Knight; his granddaughter, Brianna Santiago; and his brothers: Darryl Umland and his wife Barbara, of Somerset, Massachusetts; Howard Umland of Perkasie, Pennsylvania; and Charles Umland and his wife Diane of Quakertown, Pennsylvania; his aunt Pauline Stork (Holden) of Norfolk, Virginia; nephews Josh and Teddy of Perkasie, Pennsylvania, and Robert of Champaign, Illinois, Jamey Umland; niece Suzanne P. Cote (Umland) of Dighton, Massachusetts; nieces Naomi and Sarah Umland of Valley Center, California; first cousins Robert Holden of Norfolk, Virginia and Lynn Holden of Juno Beach, Florida; second cousins Rosa Godshall-Holden of Jensen Beach, Florida; Setel Holden-Villars and Carlos Holden-Villars of Norfolk, Virginia; Sarah Highlen (Holden) of Chesterton, Indiana; third cousins Maurice Cote and Thea June Cote of Dighton, Massachusetts. He is also survived by his former wife, Linda Umland of Pensacola, Florida, and his beloved cats, Gato and Poopie.
He was predeceased by his brother Bruce Umland, March 6, 2014, of Valley Center, California, and his second cousin, Miles Godshall-Holden, August 22, 2015, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
