Greg L. Siefert, 52, Greensburg, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg.
Born, January 8, 1963 in Batesville, Indiana, he was the son of Louis J. and Marjorie A. (Grieshop) Siefert. Greg graduated from Batesville High School. He was the grow finishing production manager at JBS United in Milroy.
He was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, a former 4H leader for 15 years, a former member of the Power of the Past, Knights of St. John and the Pork Producers.
He was married to Sharon K. Springmeyer on April 22, 1989 and she survives.
He is also survived by his father, Louis; one son, Dillon Siefert; one daughter, Olivia Siefert; one brother, Dennis (Nancy) Siefert, Batesville; three sisters, Sue (Allie) Waechter, Batesville, Patricia (Terry) Valliere, Champagne, MN, Nancy (Jerome) Meyer, Batesville; Mother-in-law, Ruth Springmeyer, Greensburg.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Siefert, father-in-law, Don Springmeyer, brother-in-law, Gary Springmeyer.
